Dr. Nele Matz-Lück has accepted the offer of a chair with focus on the Law of the Sea (formerly held by Prof. Dr. Alexander Proelß) at the Walther-Schuecking-Institute for International Law at Kiel University with effect from October 15, 2011. In the winter term she will hold lectures on "Allgemeine Staatslehre" [in German] and "Staatsrecht III" [in German] and offer a seminar on "Schutz und Bewirtschaftung grenzüberschreitender/globaler Ressourcen" [in German] ("Protection and Exploitation of Transboundary/Global Ressources".
Previously, Prof. Dr. Matz-Lück had been working at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg since 2004.
